Michael Allen

Founder and CEO

Howdy! I’m an Aggie IDIS engineering student from Austin, Texas with a passion for entrepreneurship and building people-first businesses. I started Pickey because I believe strongly in the Aggie Core Values — especially selfless service. I want Pickey to be a company that genuinely cares about everyone involved: customers, restaurants, and drivers alike. At the end of the day, catering is a people and relationships business. My goal is to build something that makes group ordering simpler, more reliable, and better for everyone it impacts.

Built Around Better Incentives

Pickey was built to better the food service ecosystem for everyone involved

Better Pay For Drivers

Pickey focuses on larger, coordinated catering orders instead of high-volume low-pay deliveries. Drivers earn more per trip through efficient routing, fewer stops, and higher-value orders.

Transparent Pricing

No inflated delivery markups or confusing fee stacks. Pickey keeps pricing straightforward so customers understand where their money goes and restaurants keep more of each order.

Supporting Local Food Access

As Pickey grows in College Station, we’re working toward partnerships that help support local food pantries and community organizations through catering growth.

Restaurant-Friendly Partnerships

Pickey is designed to work with restaurants, not against them. Flexible fulfillment and operational support help restaurants participate in larger catering opportunities without unnecessary platform pressure.
